When having RADIESSE® injected into the hands, the most common occurring side effects are redness, bruising, pain, nodules, bumps, itching, swelling, loss of sensation, and difficulty performing certain activities due to motor control issues.
When RADIESSE® is injected into the face, the side effects are lessoned and may include bruising, swelling, redness, pain, and itchiness.
If not done by an experience professional, you may also have nodules or lumps form underneath the skin which can create a risk of infection or you may develop cellulitis which is a bacterial skin infection.
Typically, though, any major side effects only occur as a result of technical errors and there is little likelihood of adverse or delayed onset of side effect events.
