WHAT IS JUVÉDERM® & HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our Orlando Juvéderm® product line-up is a hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler, but unlike other fillers, its main ingredient is naturally found in the body. It was designed to help individuals wanting to address facial signs of aging, as both collagen and hyaluronic acid production wanes in the body with age. It is used to enhance and restore facial areas such as the cheeks, lips, and mouth area.

The Juvéderm® product line-up is quite large, as each product has a combination of different bonding agents and concentrations, which stimulate different areas and depths of the face. The hyaluronic acid that is in Juvederm® works to add volume to facial tissue by stimulating the production of collagen. This, in turn, plumps up the connective tissue and makes certain facial features, like the lips, appear smoother and larger.

HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST WITH JUVEDERM®?

Juvederm® results for most of our patients in Orlando last between six months and two years. You will also be able to see results immediately within the treatment area once swelling and redness have subsided.

WHAT ARE SIDE EFFECTS FROM JUVEDERM®?

Since the treatment does require an injection site, swelling and bruising are quite common. You may also experience redness, tenderness, minor pain, and itchiness. Lumps or bumps can also occur underneath the injection site if the filler is not evenly distributed during the treatment process. Typically, any minor side effects that you do have will disappear within 2-4 weeks post-treatment. JUVEDERM VOLIFT®

This dermal filler is for softening smile lines and restoring a natural-looking fullness to the area. It is extremely effective and more efficient due to its new formulation, meaning that a smaller concentration can be used to get the same desired results.

JUVEDERM VOLUMA®

This dermal filler restores any lost fullness in the cheeks and chin area, giving you a more youthful appearance. It uses Vycross, a new technology that produces a smooth gel that can be sculpted to create the desired outcome.

JUVEDERM VOLITE®

This dermal filler is all about hydration. It can be used to increase how well hydrated your treatment area looks for up to 9 months. With improved hydration comes an improvement in the appearance of fine lines, smoothness, and depressions.

JUVEDERM ULTRA XC®

This version of the dermal filler can be injected deeper into the skin than other Juvederm products. It works well for moderate lip enhancements and wrinkle reduction and can treat volume loss in the face. Patients who receive this tend to have results that last longer than other Juvederm products; around 9 months.

JUVEDERM ULTRA PLUS XC®

The ultra plus version is very similar to the ultra but lasts longer because it has a larger particle size and is a thicker gel. It is perfect for deep corrections of folds and wrinkles around the nose, mouth, and lip area.
