WHAT IS RESTYLANE® & HOW DOES IT WORK?

Restylane® is a line of hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers offered to our Orlando patients that are used to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles in the skin. Upon injection, the filler acts as a sort of scaffolding, mimicking connective tissue and smoothing out the skin above it.

Once it is set in place, the hyaluronic acid stimulates the body’s natural production of collagen, which is the natural connective tissue that would normally give your skin a smooth look. Restylane®

Standard Restylane contains the finest particle size and thus is better suited to areas where fine detail is required. This includes the lips and around the eyes but can also include the cheeks.

Restylane-L®

The most versatile of the group and containing the local anesthetic, lidocaine, for increased comfort during injection, Restylane-L is thicker and better suited for areas that require a slightly more drastic approach. Around the mouth, cheeks, and nose, where deep creases and lines can form, are the ideal locations for this option.

Restylane-Lyft®

The thickest and densest of the line, Restylane-Lyft is ideal for large areas that would require multiple injections of Restylane and Restylane-L, including the cheeks, forehead, and even the backs of the hands.

HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST WITH RESTYLANE®?

You will end up seeing results almost immediately after treatment, including increased volume, a smoother complexion, and a younger-looking appearance.

You can be provided with nitrous gas, topical numbing creams, ice packs, squeeze balls, or dental blocks to help distract and eliminate any discomfort during the procedure.
