At your treatment appointment, a topical anesthetic numbing cream will be applied to your face. This will take approximately 30-45 minutes. This numbing cream will prevent you from feeling any of the needling that takes place during the treatment process. Once your skin is numb, the Vivace™ handpiece will be used by your doctor to gently push needles into your skin.

The needles will emit heat from their tips into the layers of your skin. This part of the treatment lasts about 45 minutes, and you may feel a light pressure on your face but little to no pain. After treatment is complete, a post-procedure kit will be provided to the patient for proper after-care for the next 24-48 hours with detailed instructions from the provider. Keep your skin clear and avoid makeup, skincare products, excessive sweating, steam exposure, and sun exposure for a few days afterward.

WHAT ARE THE RESULTS LIKE & HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?

Your skin is going to look brighter and smoother within a few hours, but any tightening or toning of the skin will take several weeks to show. The results will have long-lasting benefits.
